Does a free QR code expire?
Static codes generated here encode the URL in the image. They keep working with no account, no host, and no expiry date. If the destination website itself goes down, that is a different problem — change the site, or use a dynamic code so you can retarget the print.
What if I need to edit the link later?
That is a dynamic code: a short redirect we host. Creating one uses a credit. Cancel or downgrade freezes editing; it does not freeze the redirect.
Do you deactivate codes when I stop paying?
No. Printed dynamic codes keep resolving. You can download the full redirect map as JSON and self-host it.
Is scan tracking required?
No. Static codes have no scan analytics because nothing hits our servers. Dynamic codes can show country and device aggregates without storing visitor IPs.
How do credits work?
Static stays free. Dynamic is 1 credit per code created. Packs start at $10 for 250 credits that never expire. Pro is $29/mo billed annually ($348/yr), or $39/mo billed monthly.
